This project improves the lifetime and efficiency of blue OLED emitters. It will investigate lanthanide-based materials that exhibit significantly improved stability and efficiency. The central goal is to achieve 99.95% purity in the emitter materials, combined with comprehensive investigations of their stability under environmental stress. The findings will enable integration into industrial OLED processes.

The focus of beeOLED's work is determining the precise purity of the materials and improving it through synthesis and purification processes.

Furthermore, the materials will be subjected to thermal and other environmental stresses and optimized for stability to be suitable for mass production processes.
