About beeOLED

Founded in December 2020, the Dresden-based company beeOLED is developing an innovative approach to substantially increase the efficiency and lifespan of displays. We develop, synthesize and market fine chemicals, taking the entire path from research work directly to product placement on the global market in a short space of time. At beeOLED, experienced synthesis chemists, analytical chemists, physicists, engineers, project managers and patent experts work closely together in an international team to establish our new idea on the market as quickly as possible. Our customers are all manufacturers of OLED displays for smartphones and televisions. Financially strong investors and public funding support us on our way. During our current growth phase, we are looking to strengthen our team.

Your profile

  • Completed university degree with a PhD in chemistry with a focus on organic chemistry.
  • In-depth knowledge of classical and modern synthesis methods.
  • Good knowledge of complex chemistry is an advantage.
  • Practical experience in multi-step synthesis and general analysis methods (HPLC, GC-MS, NMR, TGA, ICP-EOS).
  • Above-average commitment, perseverance and a determined, thorough approach to work.
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
  • In addition, you are distinguished by:
    • Organizational skills; the ability to work in a planned and systematic manner;
    • a precise, goal-oriented, timely and independent way of working within a team;
    • quick comprehension and good communication skills;
    • an analytical, structured and solution-oriented mindset focused on economic efficiency;
    • as well as diligence and reliability.

Your tasks

  • Development of structural concepts for organic materials for use in optoelectronic components according to specified targets.
  • Independent development and realization of syntheses of these materials on a laboratory scale.
  • Characterization of material properties, research into structure-property relationships.
  • Coordinating internal and external projects.
  • Conducting scientific literature and patent research.
  • Evaluating patentable developments.
