You want to contribute to the improvement of today's OLED smartphones, IT and TV displays? Have you always wanted to be part of a deep-tech start-up? Founded in December 2020, the Dresden-based company beeOLED is developing an innovative approach to substantially increase the efficiency and lifespan of displays. We develop, synthesize and market fine chemicals, taking the entire path from research work directly to product placement on the global market in a short space of time.

At beeOLED, experienced synthesis chemists, analytical chemists, physicists, engineers, project managers and patent experts work closely together in an international team to establish our new idea on the market as quickly as possible.

Our customers are all manufacturers of OLED displays for smartphones and televisions.
Financially strong investors and public funding support us on our way. During our current growth phase, we are looking to strengthen our team.

Your Profile

Professional qualifications

  • Completed university degree with a PhD in chemistry with a focus on analytical chemistry.
  • Good knowledge of organic chemistry
  • Initial professional experience is an advantage
  • In-depth knowledge of analytical methods, in particular: HPLC, GC, TGA, EA, MS
  • Experience in sample preparation, especially in handling sensitive organic substances or semiconducting materials.
  • Experience in data analysis and evaluation of complex measurement results.
  • Confident handling of laboratory documentation, ideally also GLP/GMP-compliant.
  • Above-average commitment, perseverance and a determined, thorough approach to work.

Personal and social skills

  • Very good written and spoken German and English
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment – start-up
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
  • In addition, you are characterized by:
    • Organizational skills; the ability to proceed in a planned and systematic manner;
    • a precise, goal-oriented, timely, and independent way of working within a team;
    • quick comprehension and good communication skills;
    • an analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset focused on economic effectiveness;
    • as well as diligence and reliability

Your responsibilities

  • Co-development of analytical methods, in particular HPLC and GC, for the characterization of organic materials,
  • Development and supervision of standard operating procedures (SOPs),
  • Comprehensive characterization of material properties and derivation of conclusions from this,
  • Development and supervision of quality standards and processes in cooperation with customers and suppliers,
  • Processing of internal and external projects, including planning, project tracking, risk management, ensuring that objectives are achieved and preparing reports.
