Founded in December 2020, the Dresden-based beeOLED is researching an innovative approach to substantially increase the efficiency and lifespan of displays. We develop, synthesise and market these fine chemicals, and in a short space of time from the beauty of early research directly to product placement on the world market.
At beeOLED, an international team of experienced synthesis chemists, analytical chemists, physicists, engineers, project managers and patent managers and patent experts work closely together to establish our new idea on market as quickly as possible. Our customers are all manufacturers of displays for smartphones and televisions. Financially strong investors support us on our way. Within our current growth phase, we are looking to strengthen our team.

Your Profile

  • Completed university degree with doctorate in chemistry specialising in organic chemistry.
  • Sound knowledge of classical and modern synthesis methods.
  • Good knowledge of complex chemistry is an advantage.
  • Practical experience in multi-step synthesis and general analytical methods (HPLC, GC-MS, NMR, TGA, ICP-EOS).
  • Above-average commitment, perseverance and a determined, thorough way of working.
  • It is essential that you have a good command of written and spoken German and English.
  • A good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
  • You are also characterised by:
    • Organisational talent; the ability to proceed in a planned and systematic manner;
    • a precise, goal-orientated, punctual and independent way of working within a team;
    • quick comprehension and good communication skills;
    • an analytical, structured and solution-orientated mindset focused on economic effectiveness solution-orientated way of thinking;
    • as well as diligence and reliability.

Your Tasks

  • Development of structural concepts for organic materials for use in optoelectronic components according to target specifications.
  • Independent development and realisation of syntheses of these materials on a laboratory scale.
  • Characterisation of material properties, research into structure-property relationships.
  • Coordination of internal and external projects.
  • Scientific literature and patent research.
  • Evaluation of patentable developments.

Working conditions and benefits

  • Flexible but regulated working hours (core working hours)
  • No shift work, no weekend work
  • 30 days annual leave
  • Employment contract with 6-month probationary period
